Clinton, Massachusetts

I was more familiar with Clinton than with Berlin before this run. One of my sisters had lived in Clinton briefly, and we’d spent time at The Strand and along High Street. I’d also run the Tribute 5-miler a few times. I had had few reasons to stop in Berlin, though, and I was shocked to find that it featured an aqueduct. Or, rather, that it had once held a functioning aqueduct that was now a delightful trail. When I think of aqueducts I think of the Pont du Gard, not of suburban New England, but as it turns out this would not be the last aqueduct I ran in my Massachusetts town runs.
